These poems reflect a community with a commitment to the arts, including literary arts. Barry Spacks, Perie Longo, David Starkey, Paul J. Willis, Chryss Yost, and Sojourner Kincaid Rolle. Preface by Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneinder, with a coda to honor poet David Oliveira. The book includes 6-12 poems by each poet with a biographical note by editor (and poet laureate) David Starkey.
