Some of the popular themes in kink writing include humiliation and an imbalance of power between two or more characters. I think one of the things that separates this aspect of the kink with more conventional stories of relationships is the fact characters in sissy and/or cuckold situations don't end up as the hero of the story. They don't overcome the odds they face to reclaim their own personal power. He's been completely stripped of his sense of power and control but he carries a burning resentment of his situation. He's the only one I know who has the seed of rebellion that could transform him from a weak sissy boi to an actual hero. We'll see how that goes.
