For nearly two decades, Adrea stole any free moment she could from her hectic consulting career to write stories and articles that included her obsessions: love, physics, food, wellness, logic, grace, cleverness, wordplay, and imagining the best of and for herself and others.She graduated valedictorian with a journalism degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and later earned a Masters in Popular Fiction Writing from Seton Hill University. Adrea and Teffanie Thompson co-authored several inspirational alphabet books and an app at Pictureless Books. The duo also recently co-wrote When I Go Outside, I Go Inside, published with MMH Press. Adrea and Teffanie both contributed to the award-winning textbook for writers, Many Genres, One Craft. In 2024, she published the final book in her Becoming Truitt Skye trilogy. She also published the Quantum Collection which includes her award-winning best seller, Quantum Thinking, a collection of affirmations to ignite possibility within the reader.Quantum Thinking and When I Go Outside, I Go Inside were both selected for the 2021 Academy Award giftbags given to all the nominees for Best Actress, Actor, Director and Best Supporting Actor and Actress.Adrea has mentored fellow writers for the last decade because she is fierce in her love for writers discovering their voice and their story through positive exchanges and understandable structure. In 2021, her award-winning book, The Science of Story: Mastering Your Nature was published and has since led to many workshop bookings for Adrea where she guides the audience toward seeing and becoming the hero of their own life.She was honored as one of the Top 500 Entrepreneurs for 2021 by Brainz Magazine. The award winners, which included Oprah, Jay Sheety, Mel Robbins, Jessica Alba and many more, were recognized for their entrepreneurial success, achievements, and dedication to helping others.Adrea has received several awards for her books and her writing.
