Henry Blackaby was a beloved author, international speaker, and trusted spiritual advisor to pastors and business leaders. Blackaby wrote dozens of popular books, including Spiritual Leadership, Experiencing God: Day by Day, and Hearing God's Voice, but he was best known for writing, Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God. He founded Blackaby Ministries International which continues to promote his teaching around the world. Henry and his wife Marilynn had five children, all of whom serve in Christian ministry.

Richard Blackaby is president of Blackaby Ministries International and the oldest child of Henry and Marilynn Blackaby. He holds degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Dallas Baptist University. He lives with his wife and children in Canada.
