This research study is an attempt to explore and identify the obstacles in learning English among the students of rural areas; its inquiries into the matter of interferences and implications of mother tongue such as Telugu, Oriya, and other regional languages and some of the other native languages. It also includes linguistic problems such as less grammar, lack of vocabulary, and poor pronunciation. It also emphasizes psychological problems such as lack of self-confidence, anxiety, and shyness.
