Dr. Karen Parker Davidson, RN, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist, researcher, and leading expert in nasal function, airway health, and further developments in 4-phase rhinomanometry, pioneering functional rhinology, nasal resistance as a fifth vital sign, and flow-based dentistry and orthodontics. With over 30 years in clinical practice, medical devices, and critical care-including service as a U.S. Air Reserves Force Flight Nurse-she has developed innovative diagnostic tools, algorithms, and methods to advance nasal flow and function analysis and further develop airway AI. As Vice President of GM Instruments, Ltd., and a respected educator and professor, she has authored key publications on airway function, sleep medicine, and nasal health, including the My Little Nose children's series. Recognized with numerous awards, including a National Science Foundation honor, she continues to drive innovation in airway diagnostics and early intervention.
