Nikita Igorevich Krivoshein, a French Orthodox writer and translator, descendant of the "first wave" Russian emigration. Nikita Krivoshein's grandfather was the Minister of Agriculture for the Russian Empire and Prime Minister of the Southern Russian government in 1920 during the Civil War; his father was an artillery officer who participated in the Russian Civil War and the anti-Nazi Resistance movement in France - he was a prisoner in both Nazi and Soviet concentration camps.
