The author is English and was educated at a private school in England. He emigrated to Australia in 1981 with his wife and young family. He was diagnosed as having Multiple Sclerosis, and as his walking became increasingly difficult, he returned to England in 2009 to be with his daughters. He has been in a wheelchair since 2019. He has a care worker who gets him up in the morning and puts him to bed at night. His wife also has MS. This is the second book, and the first is called Undamage me... Jack, and is the start of Jack and Summer's love affair in England. Undamage us... Summer, as the title indicates, follows the progress of their now-troubled relationship. Will their love affair continue? Will there be a happy ending? There is only one way to find out.
