Graham Hoyland is a mountaineer and sailor who became the fifteenth Briton to climb Mount Everest. He initiated the Mallory and Irvine Research Expedition, which led to the discovery of George Mallory's body on Everest. Hoyland was a BBC producer for more than 30 years, working on programs including Dragon's Den. The Independent named him one of the "Five Most Inspiring Explorers."
