After the discoveries in "Deep Fate" and after humanity seeks a new beginning among the stars in "Deep Exodus". The mission is to regenerate life on Earth. This is the final short story in the trilogy, after "Deep Fate" and "Deep Exodus".
Writer Statement: "Deep Return is about healing on its own timeline. It's about hope, rejuvenation, and actually seeking help for depression and other struggles. People do heal, even if it takes longer than they'd like. Not going back to how things were before. That's gone. It's building something that works out of what's left."
