When the bells of Krakow penetrate the morning mist, when the seagulls in the Gdansk shipyard fly over the flag of the Solidarity Union, when Chopin's "Revolutionary Etude" echoes in front of the bronze statue in Warsaw's Uprising Square, I stand on this land soaked in the blood of freedom and hear history telling me: Poland is a beacon built of faith, which will always illuminate the journey of mankind in its pursuit of freedom.
