To date, no work exists that addresses these thinkers in this fashion, especially in light of their modern and medieval predecessors. While there are indeed studies of contemporary issues addressed within Catholic social thought, there are none that specifically address Catholic political philosophy. What is unique about this volume is its approach: treating primary sources of major contributors to the development of twentieth and twenty-first century political thought.
