This is an extensive collection of the documents that relate to the founding of the Order of St. Augustine in Italy during the 12th and 13th century. All of these works are Papal bulls, which describe the constitution of the order and how it was created from sundry hermits residing in Tuscany. Of significance is the various reforms and consolidations that took place through the papacies of Gregory VII, Innocent III, Gregory IX, Alexander IV, and Innocent IV.
