"Danishmand" is a different name, chosen by the author Ahmed Fal al-Din to be the first thing that catches the attention of his reader, and as it seems, it is a non-Arabic word, and when you search for its Persian meaning, you will find that it means "the scholar of scholars", that is, the most knowledgeable of them, and the novel deals with the life of Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, the philosopher and Sufi authority of Islam, and before that, the human being.
"I spun my yarn carefully, but I could not find a weaver for my yarn... So I broke my spindle" Imam al-Ghazali
After the different title, the writer quickly throws his second throw and begins the first chapters of his novel, from the second birth, so that questions arise in your head.. Where is the first birth? And why did he choose the second? And why the moment of entering Damascus? All these questions that buzz in your head with the first four pages of the novel, are similar to those that filled the mind and heart of the Imam, when he was standing at the gates of Damascus searching for himself, and wanting to find its depths.
