In the Philippine coastal town of San Vicente, the Patron Saint's fiesta is about to collide with a typhoon. And somehow, that's the least of their problems. There's Don Raul, the aging, prideful mayor who is determined to stop a super-typhoon with sheer political will; his calculating daughter, Carla, who sees the disaster as the perfect backdrop for a very lucrative engagement; Liam, the artist obsessed with filming "The True Filipino Soul" but can't find a clean restroom; and Sergio, the poor sap who just needs to find the town's escaped, raffle-winning pig, Pogi.
