Zusammenfassung

The Nullands are an endless stretch of tech-dead wilderness, teeming with exotic creatures and cut off from the rest of the planet by the glowing barrier of the Divide.Tarn is part of the Death Squad, a criminal given a second chance by agreeing to risk his life over and over again in the Nullands. His latest mission is the kind he usually babysit an inexperienced lab tech while they hunt down the dangerous creature that escaped a research lab.

Calvin is the lab tech given the unenviable task of hunting down the creature that escaped his lab, after it killed his friend and five others. An assignment he mostly landed for refusing to sleep with his boss, he knows damn good and well he's being sent to die. What he doesn't expect is Tarn, or how far he's willing to go to survive.

Sandra Bard has been writing science fiction and fantasy stories for many years, though she began simply by carrying stories in her head from a young age. She studied mathematics and physics at university before specializing in computer science for her higher studies. During late-night shifts in the computer lab, she discovered her love for creating worlds where the rules of physics didn't always apply.

After finding her first job in programming a little too lonely, Sandra moved into teaching and then started exploring an odd mixture of jobs in between. A lifelong traveler who grew up journeying from Africa to Asia, she still dreams of a career that would allow her to roam freely. Her stories often reflect her belief in happy endings and fairness, but is sprinkled liberally with the idea that a little hardship is part of every worthwhile journey. It builds characters and makes them more relatable.

When she isn't writing, Sandra enjoys reading, watching anime, practicing yoga, and occasionally visiting fanfiction communities. She has volunteered for over a decade as an animal rescuer, caring mostly for stray cats and dogs, and shares her home with several pets.
