The Harding House springs from the minds of seven authors who crafted a story none of them could have written alone. Robin Barefield, Carl Douglass, Cil Gregoire, Steve Levi, Mary Ann Poll, Rebecca Wetzler, and Valerie Winans passed chapters back and forth, each building on what came before-one author creating the mysterious attic, another sending the ghost dog bounding into the scene, a third uncovering the Civil War soldier's hidden letters. What emerged from their collaborative effort is a seamless tale reading like a single voice while drawing on seven distinct imaginations. They discovered the best moments came from the unexpected turns-when one writer's ghost suddenly pushed a character down the stairs, the next writer had to figure out why. The result is a story shaped by seven minds working as one, proving that sometimes the most compelling fiction happens when authors surprise each other.
