David Robbins has been writing fiction for nearly 30 years. His first three novels-The Tu-tone DeSoto (2014), Chamelea (2019), and The Weight of Indifference (2020)-are all set in the 1960s. His fourth novel, 2028 (2022), is a speculative political thriller about life in America under an authoritarian government.A former art director and designer in publishing, Robbins now works as an independent publications strategist. He also leads a lecture and discussion series called The 1960s: Revisiting a Crucial Decade and has taught fiction writing workshops. Many of his students have gone on to become confident writers-something he finds especially rewarding.Robbins grew up in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and now lives in Simsbury, Connecticut. He continues to write novels and short stories, and in his spare time, he works as a commercial and portrait photographer.
