Laura Woodward, Ph.D., is a social psychologist and researcher whose work focuses on student success, resilience, motivation, and learning in demanding academic environments. Her research examines how students learn, persist, and perform under pressure, particularly in higher education and medical training. Drawing from social psychology, educational psychology, and medical education, she studies how stress, belonging, academic support, and learning conditions shape student performance over time.Her work has been presented at conferences focused on medical education, student success, and academic resilience. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology, as well as master's degrees in Social Psychology and Counseling Psychology.
