Feyzullah Erzen, Güneydogu medrese geleneginin yetistirdigi önemli alimlerden biri olup özellikle Sirnak bölgesinde ilm kisiligi, irsat faaliyetleri ve toplumsal meselelere duyarliligiyla taninmistir. Yasadigi dönemde halkin din ve sosyal sorunlariyla yakindan ilgilenmis; karsilastigi meseleleri fikh, kelam ve ahlak acidan degerlendirmeye calismistir. Yetistirdigi talebelerin bölgede önemli görevler üstlenmesi, onun ilm etkisinin yalnizca kendi dönemiyle sinirli kalmadigini göstermektedir. Erzenin ilm mirasinin en dikkat cekici yönlerinden biri, kaleme aldigi risaleler ile üc ciltlik Levamiul-cevahr f isna asere ilmen yücahir adli eseridir. Uzun yillar süren tedris ve irsat faaliyetleri sirasinda kendisine yöneltilen sorulara verdigi cevaplardan olustugu anlasilan bu eser, daha sonra tasnif edilerek kitap haline getirilmistir. Eserde tefsir, fikih, kelam, hadis, tasavvuf, felsefe, tarih ve gramer gibi farkli disiplinlere dair zengin bilgiler yer almaktadir. Bu cesitlilik, Erzenin genis ilm birikimini ve meseleleri cok yönlü degerlendirme kabiliyetini ortaya koymaktadir. Bu calisma, Feyzullah Erzenin fikh görüslerini merkezine almakta; onun ilm kisiligini, medrese gelenegi icindeki yerini ve toplumsal sorunlara yaklasimini incelemektedir. Erzenin görüsleri, yalnizca bireysel din meseleleri aciklamakla kalmayip ayni zamanda bölgenin ilm, kültürel ve toplumsal yapisini anlamak acisindan da önemli veriler sunmaktadir. Bu yönüyle calisma, Sirnak ilim hayatina katki saglamis bir alimin düsünce dünyasini gün yüzüne cikarmayi amaclamaktadir.

Feyzullah Erzen was one of the prominent scholars shaped by the madrasa tradition of Southeastern Anatolia and was particularly known in the Sirnak region for his scholarly personality, activities of religious guidance, and sensitivity to social issues. During his lifetime, he closely engaged with the religious and social problems of the people and sought to evaluate the issues he encountered from jurisprudential, theological, and ethical perspectives. The fact that many of his students later assumed important positions in the region demonstrates that his scholarly influence was not limited to his own period. One of the most remarkable aspects of Erzens scholarly legacy is his treatises and his three-volume work entitled Levamiul-cevahr f isna asere ilmen yücahir. This work, which appears to have been composed of answers he gave to questions addressed to him during his many years of teaching and religious guidance, was later classified and compiled into book form. It contains rich discussions related to various disciplines, including Quranic exegesis, Islamic jurisprudence, theology, hadith, Sufism, philosophy, history, and grammar. This diversity reveals both Erzens broad scholarly accumulation and his ability to approach issues from multiple perspectives. This study focuses on Feyzullah Erzens jurisprudential views and examines his scholarly identity, his place within the madrasa tradition, and his approach to social problems. Erzens views not only clarify individual religious matters but also provide significant insights into the scholarly, cultural, and social structure of the region. In this respect, the study aims to bring to light the intellectual world of a scholar who made substantial contributions to the scholarly life of Sirnak.
