KWOYA FAGIN MAPLES is assistant professor of English at the University of Alabama and the author of Long Eye (Hub City Press, 2026) and Mend (2018) which was named a Finalist for the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award for Poetry, the Housatonic Book Award for Poetry, and the AWP's Donald Hall Prize for Poetry. ERIN MURPHY is professor of English and the 2026-27 University Laureate at Penn State University and the author or editor of sixteen books, including Swoon: New & Selected Poems (2026), Human Resources (2025), and Bodies of Truth (2019), winner of a Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Award.
