An island in the eastern seas is left by will to two heirs who cannot stand each other, and the natives have views of their own. McCutcheon wrote it as a comic adventure and it moves at the speed of a farce. This edition is bound with a 53-plate gallery of paintings by William Logsdail, Harold Gilman, John Lavery and Spencer Gore, and includes three in-text illustrations restored and coloured.
