Zusammenfassung

When you're used to carrying everyone and everything, letting things go can feel a lot like letting someone down.

But God never asked you to take responsibility for every need, expectation, emotion, or outcome around you. When you do, the weight adds up, leaving you exhausted by cares that were never yours to bear.

In this six-session Bible study companion to the book Is This Mine to Carry?, Mikella Van Dyke helps you go deeper into God's Word and apply its truths to the real-life burdens that leave you feeling overwhelmed. You'll explore what the Bible says about responsibilities, pressure and control, rejection, people-pleasing, and ultimately, what God says is truly worth holding.

Through thoughtful study and practical application, you'll learn to:

  • discern what God has actually entrusted to you-and what He hasn't
  • care deeply for others without carrying what God has given them to hold
  • live with greater freedom by trusting God to make room for what matters most

Whether you work through it individually or in a small group, Is This Mine to Carry? Bible Study will help you develop a more biblical understanding of responsibility, surrender, and trust.

You can care deeply without carrying everything. Through this Bible study, let Mikella help you discern what to hold, what to release, and how to trust God with the rest.

Mikella Van Dyke is a writer, speaker, and the founder of Chasing Sacred, a ministry devoted to helping women study the Bible and grow closer to God. Mikella holds an MA in practical theology from Regent University, where she developed a deep love for hermeneutics and the transformative power of Scripture. She is the author of two recent books, Chasing Sacred: Learn How to Study Scripture to Pursue God and Find Hope in Him and Chasing Sacred Bible Study: A Five-Week Journey Through Colossians and Philemon, where she offers practical insights on studying the Bible and embracing the hope of the gospel. Mikella is also a wife and mother of five, passionate about equipping women to engage Scripture with confidence and depth.
